WorkSpace 11 is a Brooklyn-based architectural metals design and fabrications house. They used AXN-RXN to help them design a custom pivoting door system and produce concept photerenderings for client reveiw. The paned-glass wall is divided up into four separate pivoting doors. Each pane on the door can swivel. All the panes can be closed to form a glass wall.

 

 

When the doors and panes are opened it can give a random aesthetic to the room. Or, close all the panesto simply have four independent glass doors.

 

Hinge points for the panes stagger from row to row. A unique manufacturing procedure encases the glass and hinge pegs for assembly and disassembly.
