Brooklyn-based sculptor Norman Mooney works with an enormous number of parts and in grand scale. His Rod Wall concept below is an 8' x 24' polished stainless wall pierced with hundreds of 1-inch diameter steel rods to form a gigantic wave surface. AXN|RXN helped Norman develop a model that would allow him to push and pull on the surface in order to get to the wave pattern he wanted.
