The Streamline IV Pole System is designed to be used in the demanding conditions of an intensive care unit. Nurses typically push a patient in a wheelchair or bed with one hand and have to drag along an IV pole with the other. A design solution was created that attaches the pole to either a wheelchair or bed and retracts the caster legs to allow the user free movement around the system.
