The Slow Inevitable Death of American Muscle depicts a super slow motion car crash. The impact runs continuously 24-hours a day for six days. Car crash testing data was analyzed to estimate realistic forces encountered in a front-end collision. These force calculation were the starting point for designing the steel framework and hydraulic ram system used to simulate the collision.
