Acrylic Ice House Concept

I've been thinking about building an ice house for northern Minnesota. I can imagine how a transparent / translucent ice house would look sitting solitary in the middle of a snow-covered lake. This SolidWorks concept uses an aluminum frame clad with light blue acrylic panels. A complimentary colored door makes a nice accent. The plan is to build the frame and clad with plywood initially to work out any issues. Stay Tuned....
